Role: Senior Structural Engineer
Work Arrangement: Work From Office
Location: Ortigas
Schedule: Morning Shift

Job Description:

  1. Preparation of high quality, engineering concept plans, detailed design plans, management of documentation for Structural Engineering projects. The designs achieved shall be to the prescribed standards, conditions and quality assurance procedures and meet allocated / agreed timeframes.
  2. Technical support to Structural Engineers, Graduate Engineers, Draftspersons and internal department.
  3. The Senior Structural Engineer has the authority to carry out tasks in accordance with the responsibilities detailed within this Position Description and as per the direction of the Structural Associate.
  4. Monitor the projects delivery ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  5. Internal systems, procedures, practice support delivery of high-quality projects and drafting / design standards are continuously improved.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor of Engineering, in Civil/ Structural.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in design and documentation of Building Structural Engineering projects.
  3. Competent and very familiar with relevant Australian Standards.
  4. Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  5. Demonstrated understanding of Structural Engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures and construction techniques.
  6. Critically review design drawings and documentation.
