Role Summary

The Virtual Engineer is responsible for supporting construction projects by developing and maintaining Electrical BIM Models and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) deliverables. This role collaborates with the Construction Operations Team to create shop drawings, coordinated layouts, and prefabrication models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project execution. The Virtual Engineer provides technical support to the operations team through clear communication and precise modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Construction Operations Team to build Electrical BIM Models for construction projects.
  • Provide VDC modeling of electrical systems.
  • Create shop drawings and coordinated layouts for total stations.
  • Develop prefabrication models for the prefab department.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of modeling deliverables to support project requirements.
  • Communicate project updates clearly to the operations team.
