Responsibilities

  • Ability to act as business consultant. Identify customer needs, provide expert advice, guidance and recommend product solutions.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through zoning, cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Answer customer questions about features, pricing and additional services.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Cross-sell products, when appropriate.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities).

Requirements

  • A team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • College level or higher.
  • Knowledge/experience with productivity software (ERP, POS, HRIS, Accounting).
  • Experience in sales (software/hardware) or similar role.
  • Have good interpersonal skills and is customer service orientated.
  • Good understanding of the business processes.
  • Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
