Sales Specialist role at Aboitiz Foods. The position focuses on generating and cultivating a loyal customer base for BASCo products, through active selling with end-users, and includes responsibilities for order processing and collections in the designated area.
Key Duties And Responsibilities- Sales Operations: Develops sales plans including market analysis, projected sales (forecast) and competitor information.
- Creates and executes a coverage plan to call on existing and prospective customers in the designated sales area.
- Conducts physical and virtual sales calls to develop deep relationships with customers, addressing concerns and needs. Owns customer relationships.
- Responsible for the order generation process with customers, ensuring timely order processing and monitoring through delivery and collection.
- Ensures timely and complete collection from customers, adhering to credit terms and limits.
- Provides technical assistance through collaboration with the Technical Services Group (e.g., baking demonstrations to end users, product troubleshooting, quality concerns).
- Handles customer complaints; collaborates with Quality Assurance, R&D, or Technical Services as needed.
- Monitors, analyzes and evaluates end-users purchase performance; provides recommendations to improve business.
- Ensures effective and efficient use of company assets and resources.
- Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
- Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
- Actively participate in company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management, etc.
- Performs other tasks related to the job as assigned by the immediate superior.
- A graduate or minimum two years of study of any four-year course, preferably in Management, Business Administration, Marketing and Food Science or Food Technology.
- At least two years experience in related work.
- Motorcycle Drivers License
- Entry level: Ability to articulate ideas clearly, confidently and effectively both verbally and in writing; ability to understand abstract ideas and apply them to specific situations; computer literacy and proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications.
- Knowledge and understanding of BASCo products; ability to convey relevant industry information; ability to analyze problems and take corrective/preventive actions; proficiency in company-approved computer applications.
- Good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills; planning, leadership, organizing and controlling skills; ability to analyze sales and marketing data; good presentation skills; able to work independently and in a team; proactive problem solving; willing to travel.
Report to Branch Manager; Assigned at San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
