The Assistant Finance Manager role will ensure that all vendor and supplier payments are made on time and are properly documented.

What you'll do:

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
    • Assist in the preparation of the Company's annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.
    • Support in the development of financial models to assist decision-making processes.
    • Collaborate with department heads to gather inputs and ensure alignment with the organization's goals.
  2. Accounting Support:
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
    • Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and account reviews.
    • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with internal and external audits.
  3. Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of detailed financial reports for senior management, highlighting key financial trends, performance indicators, and areas of concern.
    • Assist in the preparation of statutory and tax reports to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  4. Internal Controls & Compliance:
    • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
    • Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support to business leaders.
  5. Ad hoc Projects:
    • Assist in special financial projects as needed, including system implementations, process improvements, and financial analysis.

What we seek:

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting processes and reconciliation techniques.
  • Ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or professional certification like CPA is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and MS Office Suite, especially Excel (Advanced knowledge of Excel is highly desirable).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Must be willing to work in the office in the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) daily.
