Data Engineer

The MLOps Engineer will be responsible for deploying data scientist's model and make it accessible to the software that utilizes it. Responsibilities include - deploy, manage, and optimize machine learning models in production environments, ensuring smooth integration and efficient operations.

• Business: Proficiency in data modelling and ETL processes.
• Business: Basic understanding of use cases of the business domain.
• Processes: Checking deployment pipelines for machine learning models.
• Processes: Review Code changes and pull requests from the data science team.
• Processes: Triggers CI/CD pipelines after code approvals.
• Processes: Monitors pipelines and ensures all tests pass and model artifacts are generated and stored correctly.
• Processes: Deploys updated models to prod after pipeline completion.
• Processes: Works closely with the software engineering and DevOps team to ensure smooth integration.
• Processes: Containerize models using Docker and deploy on cloud platforms (like AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Processes: Set up monitoring tools to track various metrics like response time, error rates, and resource utilization.
• Processes: Establish alerts and notifications to quickly detect anomalies or deviations from expected behavior.
• Processes: Analyze monitoring data, log files, and system metrics.
• Processes: Collaborate with the data science team to develop updated pipelines to cover any faults.
• Processes: Documenting and troubleshoots, changes, and optimization.
• Education & Experience: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Education & Experience: Experience: Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role for 4+ years.
• Education & Experience: Hands-on experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi).
• Education & Experience: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Education & Experience: Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Education & Experience: Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in Python.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and database design.
• Technical Skills: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
