About the Role:

As a Design Officer, you will collaborate closely with the Design Manager, Builds Team, and TMG stakeholders to ensure all design work meets specific standards. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in Food & Beverage (F&B) projects, contributing to creative and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Project Support:

  • Coordinate internal development projects, ensuring project milestones are met through effective cross-department collaboration.

Design Execution:

  • Create detailed and accurate CAD drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, details, and perspectives, based on mall-provided cut-up plans, site measurements, and specific requirements.

Technical Coordination:

  • Oversee architectural samples and custom product requests, including specifications.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to the builds team.

Fieldwork & Measurements:

  • Conduct site measurements using various tools and techniques, including tape measures and laser meters.

Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure all designs align with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Creative Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the kitchen operations team to maintain accuracy and consistency of drawings.

Presentation & Communication:

  • Present design concepts clearly and effectively to the team.

Additional Advantage:

  • Knowledge of 3D modeling software and rendering skills is a plus.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Preferably experienced in restaurant projects, with a focus on Back of House (BOH) layouts.

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Creative and innovative approach with a keen sense of aesthetics.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Additional Edge:

  • A licensed Architect or Interior Designer.
  • Background in project management is an advantage.
