About the role

We are searching for an experienced Cost Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our talented construction team at Don Lee Builders, Inc. in Manila City, Metro Manila. As a full-time member of our growing organisation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial viability and success of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material quantities, labour, equipment, and overhead costs

  • Analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify and quantify all necessary resources

  • Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information

  • Continuously monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle to identify and mitigate potential budget overruns

  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations to the leadership team to support strategic decision making

  • Collaborate with the wider construction team to ensure efficient and cost-effective project delivery

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 years of experience as a Cost Estimator or Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

  • Strong working knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards

  • Proficient in using cost estimating software and other relevant computer applications

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound financial decisions

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Relevant degree or certification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
