About the role
You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring daily transport operations of the assigned Distribution Center, ensuring accurate and timely execution of transport activities, reporting, documentation, and issue follow-through. You will support transport performance monitoring, resource utilization, vendor coordination, and process compliance while working closely with the Supervisor and relevant stakeholders to maintain efficient transport operations.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate daily transport activities including schedules, dispatch requirements, delivery updates, and operational follow-ups
Monitor truck availability, utilization, route assignments, fill rates, and backload opportunities
Maintain transport trackers and reports
Monitor service levels and operational KPIs
Identify exceptions and ensure timely escalation and follow-through of performance gaps
Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Rank & File personnel, 3PL partners, and other stakeholders on transport issues, delays, and service disruptions
Monitor vendor activities and service performance
Ensure completeness and accuracy of transport documentation
Maintain system transactions, trackers, and operational reports in accordance with established procedures
Provide operational support to the Supervisor and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
At least 1 year of experience in transport operations, logistics coordination, or a similar role preferred
Analytical and detail-oriented
Strong coordination and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic warehouse systems
Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
