Position Title: Frontend Engineer

Work Set-up: Hybrid (MW: Onsite, TTHF: WFH)

Schedule: 7am – 4pm PHT

Salary: Php50,000- Php70,000

We are looking for a talented and values-aligned Frontend Engineer to join an established, high-performing digital consultancy. JOB DESCRIPTION AS A FRONTEND ENGINEER

Your Responsibilities as a Frontend Engineer will be:

• Design and implement frontend architecture using React/React Native.
• Build reusable, scalable components and interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, PMs, and designers across multiple projects.
• Translate business and technical requirements into functional code.
• Maintain a clean and well-documented codebase, aligned with team standards.
• Take initiative to solve technical problems and raise better solutions when appropriate.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and planning sessions.
• Occasionally support the pre-sales process with technical insights.
• Keep up to date with modern frontend trends and tools.
• Ensure the successful delivery of projects by focusing on quality, performance, and clarity.

Qualifications as a Frontend Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Atleast 3yrs years of professional experience in frontend development (React.js / React Native / Next.js)
• Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and Node.js.
• Practical knowledge of GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Experience working with AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, EC2, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Experience working in Agile teams, preferably in agency or consultancy settings.
• Proficiency in unit testing (e.g., Jest) and a good understanding of integration testing.
• Exposure to mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Comfortable working with Headless CMS platforms.
• Ability to work independently and also collaborate within the team
• Someone that has the technical skills and can also think out side the box
• Comfortable with providing guidance other team members, training to new hires as needed etc.
