About Kids Club 360Kids Club 360 is a school based before and after school childcare located in District 2 at James Irwin Charter Elementary and District 8 at Eagleside Elementary with 3 feeder sites: Mesa, Aragon, and Jordahl Elementary. Kids Club 360 is the best before and after school childcare program for kids 5-12 years old in the Pikes Peak Region. We have the best staff, the most effective programs, the most convenient locations, and the most competitive prices. It's easy – youth can be dropped off at school as early as 6:00 am and we'll take it from there. Kids participate in fun, enriching activities until school begins and then again after school ends until 6:00pm. We provide homework help and educational programs, we encourage positive interactions, and we focus on building character and leadership skills.Mission Statement: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.Position Overview: Program Leads are responsible for the supervision of members, maintaining a 1:15 adult to child ratio, and implementing activities and programs throughout the week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Plan and help with the administration of designated Site programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes.

2. Ensure the safety of all members through active supervision, heightened awareness, and implementation of state licensing requirements.

3. Assist Director in proper record keeping of attendance, snack counts, and half hour tracker.4. Report assigned program outcomes, activities implemented, and success stories in writing to Site

Director in advance for Monthly Site Report. The due date will be given each month.5. Ensure that members are encouraged to participate in a variety of program areas/activities and

receive instruction and constructive feedback to develop skills in program area(s).

6. Demonstrate leadership and a positive attitude to assure conduct, safety, and development of members.

7. Effectively communicate with Site Director daily regarding any member issues, behavioral problems and/or other site concerns. This includes information such as disciplinary reports about members needing site supplies, etc.

8. Complete training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid (FA), Universal Precautions (UP) and if needed, Medication Administration (MA).

9. Other duties as needed or assigned.

Supervision Received:Program Leads report directly to the Site Director and receive regular supervision from the Site Director.Program Leads will also receive support from Program Leaders.Supervision Exercised:Program Leads exercise joint supervision with Program Leaders regarding members to keep a 1:15 ratio.However, Program Leads may not lead activities as the sole supervisory adult due to state regulations. Kids Club 360 expects all employees to uphold the best judgment and discretion at all times.Qualifications:

1. At least 19 years of age2. High School Diploma or GED Candidate must have at least 460 verifiable hours of working and or

volunteering with school age children. (5 years of age and older)3. Preferably at least 3 months cumulative experience working with children ages 5-12 4. Must be available during business hours of 5:45am-8am (two to three times a week) and 1:30pm to

6:30pm Monday through Friday.5. Must submit to and pass a background check

1. Energetic, active, and willing to take initiative2. Strong verbal and written communication skills3. Patience in the redirecting and mentoring of youth4. Adapts well to change and fast paced environments

Physical Demands and Work Environment:Standing and walking for long periods of time, talking, hearing and physical activities such as daily cleaning, leading sport activities and light to moderate carrying duties. Childcare environment with moderate to loud noise.
