Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HR Instructional Designer to develop engaging and effective training programs for employees across various HR functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering learning solutions that enhance employee skills, compliance, and overall workforce development. This role requires expertise in instructional design, e-learning tools, and HR training methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement HR-related training programs, including onboarding, compliance training, leadership development, and soft skills training.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to assess training needs and create tailored learning solutions.
- Utilize instructional design models (ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick's Model) to create impactful training content.
- Develop engaging instructional materials such as e-learning modules, job aids, videos, and interactive courses.
- Leverage e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) to create digital learning experiences.
- Manage and maintain content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Integrate gamification, microlearning, and multimedia elements to enhance learner engagement.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and corporate learning standards.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in HR training, instructional design, and e-learning technology.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, corporate training, or HR learning and development.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, compliance training, and workforce development.
- Experience working with LMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, Moodle, Workday Learning).
- Proficiency in e-learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze learning needs and develop customized training solutions.
- Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and multimedia tools for content creation.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Instructional Design (e.g., CPTD, APTD) or HR-related certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Experience in a BPO, corporate HR, or shared services environment.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and employee engagement strategies.
