As aSenior Project Manager at Hive Modular, your role will include the following:

Project Management and Execution

  • Lead and oversee production projects from planning to completion.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership and Coordination

  • Manage interdisciplinary teams, including architects, designers, and engineers.
  • Chair weekly production review meetings to ensure project alignment.
  • Foster a collaborative and solution-oriented team culture.

Procurement and Vendor Management

  • Oversee the acquisition of materials and services needed for project execution.
  • Ensure cost-effective procurement strategies while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs and delivery timelines.

Budgeting and Financial Oversight

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Track expenses and analyze financial reports to maintain cost control.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize project spending.

Process Optimization and Compliance

  • Implement best practices in construction and manufacturing project management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Identify opportunities for improving workflow and operational efficiency.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Work closely with the executive team, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide clear and timely updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external project communications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management within the construction and/or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams managing complex technical projects.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
