About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI Ops - IT Director to join our growing team at a Global Packaging Manufacturing company, recognized as part of the Forbes 500 and publicly listed on the NYSE. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic implementation and management of our AI operations, ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of our IT services.

Based in our newly established Shared Services Centre in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will be part of the pioneer team, playing a crucial role in driving the company's technology vision and optimizing our digital infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the company's AI operations, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of AI-powered systems and solutions to enhance operational efficiency
  • Manage and optimise the performance of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based services
  • Implement robust security measures to protect the company's data and systems from cyber threats
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to identify and address technology-related challenges
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and identify opportunities for innovation and growth

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior IT management role, preferably in the information and communication technology industry
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing AI operations and IT teams
  • In-depth understanding of AI technologies, cloud computing, and enterprise-level IT infrastructure
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow for automation and workflow management.
  • Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments or industrial control systems is a plus
  • Expertise in data analytics, automation, and monitoring tools
  • Proficiency in networking technologies (like Palo Alto and Cisco) and enterprise applications like SAP
  • Strong background with Azure
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
