Qualifications
  • At least two (2) years of supply chain experience or in a related industry and/or field. Experience with capital project planning is preferred (e.g., Telecommunications, Civil, Oil & Gas Industry) and/or Consumer Goods logistics planning is an advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities

An employee who performs purchasing activities including, but not limited to, demand/supply planning, buying plan preparation, gathering supplier information, proposals, bids, complex spend analysis, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional team collaborations for the PLDT Group, as assigned by the Head.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares Demand and Supply Plan and uses it as a reference in generating the Buying Plan as needed.
    Assists in the preparation of Category Plan.
    Identifies opportunities and tracks savings value.
  • Assists the Category Lead in preparing materials for presentation to the Procurement Council with project sponsors to obtain approval on the spend plan.
  • Collaborates with Business Units (BU) to build plans, set targets, and lead strategic sourcing projects.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and issues, investigates gaps, proposes solutions, and determines action plans.
  • Ensures adequate insight into the supply chain and its impact on business operations or projects.
  • Performs market and supplier analysis to understand key business drivers.
  • Develops hypotheses for insights into sourcing strategies, supply arrangements, and contractual terms.
  • Implements modeling tools and frameworks, such as 'Total Cost of Ownership' models, to support procurement activities and decision-making.
  • Conducts RFx development, analyzes supplier responses, compares RFx responses, evaluates RFx, negotiates with suppliers, and determines Purchase Order terms and conditions.
  • Coordinates with end-users and relevant business units to gather required information (e.g., technical specifications, scope of work).
    Supports procurement process improvements, reporting, and governance activities.

Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
