We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Virtual Analyst / Bookkeeper to join our remote team in a Part Time shift. This role combines bookkeeping with financial reporting and administrative support to ensure accurate financial records and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in accounting software, and capable of working independently in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input, verify, and reconcile financial data: This covers the data entry and verification aspects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Categorize and code financial transactions: This addresses the coding and allocation of transactions.
  • Record and maintain financial transactions: This encompasses recording purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable: This covers the processing and reconciliation of these accounts.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements: This combines the report compilation and statement preparation aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures: This addresses the need for adherence to regulations.
Administrative
  • Schedule and Communication Management: Manage schedules, coordinate meetings and appointments, and organize email correspondence, ensuring efficient communication flow.
  • Document and Presentation Support: Prepare and format documents, financial presentations, and other materials as needed.
  • Data Organization and File Management: Perform accurate data entry and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Meeting and Travel Coordination: Arrange travel itineraries, book accommodations, and coordinate meeting logistics, optimizing efficiency and minimizing disruptions.
  • Confidentiality and Information Handling: Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial, business, and personal information, adhering to privacy policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, administrative support, and financial data entry.
  • Familiarity in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA).
  • Experience with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Trello, Asana).
