Job Summary:

The Geodetic Engineer at Vastana Properties and Development Corporation is responsible for conducting land surveys, verifying property boundaries, preparing technical survey documents, and ensuring geodetic data accuracy to support the company's residential and commercial development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Land Surveying and Mapping

    • Conduct topographic, relocation, and subdivision surveys for project sites.

    • Establish and verify property boundaries using GPS, total station, and leveling equipment.

    • Prepare and sign survey plans for titling, permit applications, and site development.

  2. Technical Documentation and Submissions

    • Prepare survey returns and related documents for submission to DENR, LRA, Registry of Deeds, and other agencies.

    • Assist in the preparation of as-built plans and development permits required under BP 220 and PD 957.

  3. Regulatory Compliance

    • Ensure all surveys and technical documents are compliant with the Geodetic Engineering Law (RA 8560) and other applicable regulations.

    • Work closely with company legal and documentation teams for land registration and titling.

  4. Coordination and Support

    • Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and site supervisors for technical requirements.

    • Support due diligence on potential property acquisitions through site validation and boundary verification.

  5. Data Management

    • Maintain accurate records and geospatial databases for all surveyed properties and project sites.

    • Use AutoCAD, GIS, and other tools for plotting and presentation of technical data.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Geodetic Engineer (PRC)

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in land development, surveying, or real estate projects

  • Proficient in GPS, total station, AutoCAD, and GIS mapping software

  • Knowledge of DENR and LRA documentation and procedures

  • Familiarity with HLURB/DHSUD, BP 220, and PD 957 requirements is a strong advantage

Key Attributes:

  • Detail-oriented and technically proficient

  • Strong understanding of land laws and regulations

  • Good communication and coordination skills

  • Willing to travel to project sites in La Union, Baguio, Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, Laguna and other locations
