Responsibilities
  • The PCB Layout Engineer is responsible for the Layout and Design of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) used for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), Customer Evaluation and Engineering boards; Practice PCB DFM, DFA and best design practices and Apply board level simulation. He/She will be under the Global Hardware Development Group.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of ECE, COE, or EE.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of PCB Design/Layout work experience
  • Understanding of PCB DFM and DFA
  • Understanding of PCB Fabrication Process is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in basic electronics, circuit analysis, transmission line principles, signal and power integrity
  • Knowledgeable in circuit and layout simulation and analysis is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in PCB CAD tools; Experience with Cadence System Capture and Allegro is an advantage
  • Very good team player and can work under pressure
