What You Will Be Doing
  • Crafting and managing an AI-centric financial system tailored for rapidly expanding education enterprises.
  • Drafting essential design decisions to streamline and scale core financial operations.
  • Evaluating deep dive analyses and improvement plans with guidance that refines logic and enhances AI and human capabilities.
  • Engaging in pivotal discussions concerning budgets, growth strategies, vendor negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Guaranteeing seamless operation of finance processes, including tuition, audits, and taxes, on a large scale.
What You Won't Be Doing
  • Overseeing a vast team of finance personnel.
  • Micromanaging monthly closings or manually processing transactions.
  • Settling for standard ERP workflows as "sufficient".
  • Delegating challenging tasks—this position is hands-on.
  • Functioning in a slow-paced, stable setting—this is about rapid growth and scaling.
Corporate Financial Controller Key Responsibilities

Design and manage a streamlined, AI-led financial system that supports multiple thriving educational ventures, ensuring efficiency without excess.

Basic Requirements
  • Holding qualifications such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or an MBA.
  • Over 10 years in finance leadership roles such as Finance Manager, Controller, CFO, or similar, showing clear scope and advancement.
  • Experience in top finance leadership roles (SVP, CFO, or similar) with comprehensive control over all key finance functions.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and integrated financial statements.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc.) in complex, multi-entity settings.
  • Led or managed over 5 external audits with a Big 4 firm, either as an auditor or client.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, capable of engaging directly with senior leaders.
  • Residing within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones.
Nice-to-have Requirements
  • Knowledge of K-12 educational frameworks in the U.S., including private, charter, and ESA programs.
  • Experience in creating finance automation or AI-powered workflows from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with finance operations in multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction companies.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and may involve entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
