Work setup & shift: Hybrid (3x onsite / 2x WFH) l Dayshift

As an AU Tax Accountant, you will:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements by accounting standards
  • Prepare clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed
  • Prepare management accounts
  • Help identify accounting issues
  • Apply basic Australian tax compliance procedures
  • Assist with Australian tax planning for clients
  • Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts
  • Complete requisite regulatory forms
  • Complies with the lodgement program by meeting lodgement dates and requirements

Non-negotiable

  • Business / Commerce degree with an Accounting major
  • Commencement of CPA or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in Australian tax accounting (non-negotiable)
  • Preferably with Xero experience
  • Strong communication skills
