Role: Senior Tax Accountant AU
Work Arrangement: Work From Home
Schedule: Morning Shift

Job Description:

  1. Strong knowledge of tax laws, including the preparation of tax returns, activity statements, and the latest Australian tax regulations.
  2. Preparation of work papers and reconciliation up to the financial statement stage.
  3. Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and other lodgements for companies, partnerships, trusts, and a range of individual businesses at a complex level (including large groups, inter-entity reconciliations, etc.).
  4. Assisting clients with tax planning, FBT, payroll tax, and STP.
  5. Conducting business advisory projects, including budgets, cash flow management, and management reporting.
Requirements:
  1. A degree in Accounting or a related field with a major in Accounting.
  2. Completed or currently pursuing CA/CPA certification.
  3. At least seven (7) years of proven experience in accounting and taxation within Australia.
  4. Thorough understanding of Australian taxation legislation, including but not limited to GST, FBT, CGT, and Division 7A.
  5. Experience with MYOB, Xero, Reckon, and QuickBooks.
  6. Experience with Reckon APS (desirable).
