About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team at One Food Group in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As an Operations Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic decision-making process by providing in-depth financial analysis and reporting for our operations. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide directions and assistance to operations for more detailed and relevant financial analysis and assistance to the brand
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of reports and relevant financial analysis for the Vice President of Operations, the Mancom and Execom
  • Check and review output of operations – reports, budgets, etc.
  • Use business knowledge to identify potential data errors and take steps to prevent and/or correct such errors, highlighting issues to management as appropriate
  • Assist in conducting periodic needs analysis and business process reviews to design, develop and implement new and improved systems of reporting, controlling and financial analysis
  • Analyze brand operations costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities for operations
  • Provide company-driven guidance on the financial aspect in meetings for strategic decision-making, including the setting of long-term goals, development of organizational and financial strategies, and decisions regarding programs that affect the operations
  • Provide relevant business insights on the result of the the brand business performance
  • Maintain confidential database such as store sales, profits and other expense related activities or items.
  • Handle special projects assigned from time to time, actively lead financial aspect on any relevant ad-hoc projects involving Operations and the Support Group

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Statistics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial analysis or operations finance role in the food industry, preferably in QSR.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis using tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Commitment and ability to meet critical business deadlines.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to receive constructive feedback.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
