What We'll Bring:

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager (TPM) with a strong background in software development to lead and deliver complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering and project management, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions while actively contributing to the codebase when needed.

What You'll Bring:
  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from planning to deployment. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure project success.
  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable and maintainable solutions. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code when necessary to support the team. Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and DevOps.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones. Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Agile Practices: Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Track team velocity and continuously improve development processes.
Impact You'll Make:Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience in technical project management or engineering leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.

This is a hybrid position involving regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
