GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTechnical

  • Coordinates with Project Manager and Trade Contractors the technical details of Architectural, Structural, and MEPFS works of the project.

  • Supervises the preparation of Body Plans, Wall Setting-out Plans, Shop Drawings, As-built Drawings, and all other plans and drawings assigned to the department.

  • Attends and at certain times, conducts technical meetings.

  • Prepares and issues minutes of the meeting and agendas.

  • Reviews the Architectural, Structural, and MEPFS plans.

  • Reports discrepancies or design issues between the Architectural, Structural, and MEPFS plans to the Project Manager. He/she shall prepare the necessary clarificatory documents (RFI/RFA).

  • Monitors and follows-up on the resolution of discrepancies or design issues in the Construction Drawings. Reports to Project Manager the delays in the resolution of the design issues and provide sound recommendation.

  • Reviews rehashed estimates of architectural works included in the project contract.

  • Ensures that drawings released on site for implementation are accurate and updated.

  • Recommends value engineering or cost-saving measures to the Project Manager.

Administration of the Department Team

  • Monitors and develops the TSG staff's personal growth opportunities, including training needs and career path.

  • Accomplishes staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; implementing enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards, adhering to legal regulations.

  • Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.

  • Provides leadership, mentorship, and direction of all TSG personnel.

  • Establishes training needs.

  • Participate in the performance review and evaluation of the TSG personnel.

  • Conduct interview for selected candidates for Cad Operator and Project TSG Head positions.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT

Educational Attainment:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or any related field

  • Professional license is a plus

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of related work experience in architectural design or construction technical support

Technical Competencies:

  • General understanding of building codes, mechanical codes, electrical codes, and plumbing codes as they relate to construction of project

  • Proficiency in reading and analyzing construction plans and drawings

  • Proficiency in preparing detailed drawings

  • Proficiency in computer-aided design software
