IT AUGMENTATION FOR BAU - PS

We are seeking an experienced SAP PS (Project Systems) consultant to support ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) activities and provide expertise in project management within the SAP environment. The role involves managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing the SAP PS module to ensure that project-related processes run smoothly, aligning with the organization's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for the SAP PS (Project Systems) module, ensuring efficient project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP PS configurations and processes.
  • Work with business users to understand project management needs and translate those into effective SAP solutions.
  • Support the setup and configuration of project structures, work breakdown structures (WBS), networks, and project budgets.
  • Assist in project monitoring, cost tracking, and reporting using SAP PS tools and ensure data integrity.
  • Perform testing, validation, and documentation for changes, enhancements, or system upgrades related to the SAP PS module.
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP PS with other SAP modules such as FICO, MM, and SD.
  • Provide guidance on SAP best practices, assist with training, and contribute to continuous improvements.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist in data collection, profiling, cleansing, mapping, conversion, transformation, validation, loading, and reconciliation.
  • Review and validate system configuration, ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into system configuration.
  • Build Roles and Authorization aligned with organizational business functions and responsibilities.
  • Utilize RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) principles to assign permissions based on user roles.
  • Collaborate closely with technical consultants to ensure alignment of technical aspects with business requirements.
  • Participate in integration testing, performance testing, and regression testing.
  • Facilitate UAT by preparing test cases and guiding end users through the testing process.
  • Assist in end-user training and provide knowledge transfer to IT.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with SAP PS (Project Systems).
  • Strong understanding of SAP PS functionality, including project planning, execution, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules such as FICO, MM, and SD.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in project management within SAP PS is a plus.
