Job Overview

The Marketing Administrative Assistant assists the Marketing Department on implementing its marketing initiatives. He / she will provide support on executing events and other forms of marketing initiatives for the different marketing efforts, as well as administrative duties and file keeping.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist on the execution of marketing plans with an emphasis on highly visible campaigns and key category drivers
  • Create content and write copy for use on online/offline marketing and promotional materials, as needed
  • Events coverage through photo and video documentation
  • Manage Marketing calendar to ensure that projects and initiatives are implemented on time and within deadlines
  • Updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation and databases
  • Help manage events, booking venues and ordering marketing materials
  • Liaise with other departments for Marketing requirements
  • Coordination with suppliers for the Marketing Department
  • All other tasks that may be assigned by the Management depending on the exigencies of the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Advertising/Media or equivalent
  • Must have at least one year experience in progressive marketing/merchandising
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in real estate, retail and/or hospitality industry is a plus
  • Must be motivated by deadlines, have great attention to details and be able to multitask
  • Should possess exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Candidate with video and photography knowledge is an advantage
