This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented support workers in Wigan to work within an established service, supporting one person with an acquired brain injury and limited mobility. This is a great opening to make a real difference to the lives of others and gain great development.
This service is a bungalow with a driveway and a back garden full of flower beds. it is also close to the town centre and there are also a few shops nearby.
The person supported here likes to spend time with parents, play bingo, visiting friends at belong, going out for lunch, going on holiday & day trips, and also going to shows.
The typical shift patterns at this service are 8am - 8am (the next day), but there are 2 staff on a sleep shift.
As requested by the person supported here, we are looking for female staff to support them.
We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience.
