Citi Finance is responsible for the firm's financial management and related controls. The team comprises disciplines including Treasury, Tax, Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis, and manages and partners on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi's compliance with financial rules and regulations.

We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Finance Accounting Analyst 2 (Business Controller) (Internal Job Title: Officer - C10) based in Taguig, BGC, Metro Manila. Services Controllersis the part of Citi Finance organization, primarily responsible forcontrolling Profit and Loss and Balance Sheetof Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business as well asensuring accuracy and integrity of financial systems. We work closely across functions to help the business execute their strategies byproviding meaningful insight into their financial results.

What do we do as a Team?

• Perform controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of TTS financial statements for Asia clusters

• Provide analytical insights to business partners on any financial related queries,

• Participate in system transformation, control and reporting improvement projects.

What will you do as a Controller?

• Perform daily and monthly controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of TTS financial statements,

• Detect, investigate, and resolve any anomalies in the financial ledger, incorrect bookings, significant Month-over-Month/Quarter-over-Quarter variances,

• Escalate any material events to avoid misreporting in Citi financial books,

• Work collaboratively across functions,including Business, Finance, Operations & Technology and Risk

• Make sure that our processes and tools are safe from risk standpoint by performing regular reviews and implementing necessary changes,

What do we expect from a Controller?

• 2-5 years of Finance/Accounting experience (preferably from an international bank)

• Excellent verbal and written English

• Understanding of Financial and Accounting concepts (US GAAP)

• Controller mind-set and process improvement drive

• Strong data analysis skills. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a must. Business Intelligence experience (Power BI, Tableau) will be an advantage.

• Bachelor's degree/University degree graduate
