Job Description

As an Engagement Coordinator, you will support the mission to Release Children from Poverty, in Jesus' Name by implementing national strategies across internal teams. Reporting to the Church Team Manager, you will play a key role in enabling the Strategic Partnerships department to achieve its national goals while upholding organizational values.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Day Shift (Monday - Friday, 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Weekends Off)

Work Setup: Onsite, Makati/Quezon City

The Qualifications We Seek

Education & Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in Business Administration or a related field (Desirable).

Experience

  • Experience working in Christian or corporate organizations (Desirable).
  • Background in the nonprofit (NFP) sector (Desirable).
  • 2 to 3 years experience in providing administrative support to cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in collaborating and contributing to cross-functional team efforts.
  • Foundational experience in evaluating and improving administrative and coordination processes for efficiency.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management experience.

Skills

  • Proven ability to work towards and achieve key goals while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to give, receive, and implement feedback.
  • Ability to translate business plans and strategies into measurable actions.
  • Excellent administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Well-developed relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders via phone and email.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to approach challenges strategically and meet deadlines.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of administrative systems and operational processes, including documentation and record management.
  • Basic knowledge of budget principles and processes.
  • Foundational understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Your Daily Tasks

  • Align tasks and deliverables with the organization's mission and strategy.
  • Effectively manage work to contribute positively to team results, achievements, and relationships.
  • Demonstrate and uphold organizational values and behaviors, fostering a strong team and company culture.
  • Execute the departmental business plan and strategy within the defined role scope and in collaboration with the local team.
  • Manage the consistent and effective implementation of external partner engagement methodologies to strengthen relationships and expand influence (e.g., provide relevant information, organize collateral, assist with field trip planning).
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives to enhance administrative systems (e.g., maintain document management systems and conduct data quality checks).
  • Ensure accurate data entry and record relevant information in the appropriate CRM system, complying with Compassion's standards.
  • Oversee the logistics of the local team, including administrative activities and collateral management.
  • Plan and coordinate team and national events in collaboration with other Engagement Coordinators within the Strategic Partnerships department.
  • Collaborate and contribute to broader Strategic Partnerships team projects as needed.
  • Design and facilitate team or department-wide training programs where relevant.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of Compassion's programs, products, and services, while sharing insights with others in the organization.
  • Participate in corporate and individual prayer and worship activities, as encouraged.
  • Perform other duties consistent with the position as required or requested.
