Overview

To elicit, analyze and interpret business requirements for solution development and serve as conduit between the business units, the digital team and software vendors/service providers, if any through which requirements flow.

Responsibilities
  • Elicits business requirements from all stakeholders in terms of business rules, process flows, corresponding inputs and outputs, performance matrices and control measures. This includes anticipating requirements that will be needed in the future or have not yet been considered but is relevant or essential to successful outcomes
  • Organizes requirements into related categories to effectively review, analyze, manage and communicate. Focusing to integrate or simplify them.
  • Analyzes business model/process to identify problems, gaps and opportunities for improvement specially to promote digital innovation and customer experience.
  • Understands the requirement and translate into documentation that other stakeholders will understand including the technical team.
  • Prioritizes initiatives based on business need and requirements. Verifies and updates requirements as necessary.
  • Minimizes risks by ensuring the requirements are clear, communicated and signed off before investing further into system development.
Business Requirements Management
  • Identifies most appropriate solution to a business problem while collaborating with the wider design and development team (such as Software Development, Systems Support, Info Sec, Network, 3rd party vendors).
  • Evaluates potential software vendors and performs gap analysis.
  • Provides inputs/assistance to the QA and Development Team.
  • Participates on the preparation of test plan and test data focusing on the compliance to business requirements.
  • Coordinates and facilitates user acceptance testing and implementation.
  • Checks if solutions met business requirements at the most cost-effective and efficient way.
Project Management
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders (including vendors) and users.
  • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Managing competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering or BS Computer Science.
  • With Post-Graduate Studies preferred or certification with Lean Six Sigma, BPM or BA.
  • With at least 5 years of experience in related field that initiated or managed process improvement/re-engineering projects.
  • Computer literate, proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Preferably with technical writing skills.
