The Area Manager will act as the store owner and lead operations for his/her assigned area. He or she will act as a head to Branch Managers /Franchise Partners to maximize profits and provide guidance on operations standards and brand equity standards. This role requires individuals to oversee the day-to-day work and operations of lower-level employees to ensure sales, profit, and quality targets are met. In addition, he or she will oversee consistent interpretation, implementation, and achievement of the organization plans, guidelines, & strategy.

We're currently looking for an Area Manager who'll mainly be in charge of the following branches:

  • Dela Rosa, Makati
  • Poblacion, Makati
  • California Garden Square, Mandaluyong
  • Taft, Manila

Qualifications:

  • An associate or bachelor's degree may be preferred for management in specialized fields.
  • Previous work experience may qualify in place of high school diploma. Experience as an area manager is preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage others.
  • Distinct communication skills, to include a willingness to offer positive and negative feedback as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate across different levels of an organization.
  • Proficient in computer operating systems, such as Windows or MacOS and competent with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Office, Excel, Powerpoint). Must be tech-savvy and can easily learn system POS, GrabFood, & foodpanda applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to create easily followed guidelines for others.
  • Strongly self-motivated, to include studying and maintaining working knowledge of industry standards and trends.
  • Must be mobile, can easily go around branches. Preferably with own vehicle & with valid driver's license.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee assigned branches daily to ensure adherence to organizational standards and guidelines.
  • Train branch heads & branch managers in effective sales and supervisory techniques.
  • Monitor sales across stores to check that quotas are met.
  • Set and implement performance standards across all stores.
  • Collaborate with other Area Managers to ensure that operations are consistent across the board.
  • Travel to stores to conduct your duties on-site.
  • Monitor employee schedules set by branch heads/branch managers, to include setting hours and timesheets. Ensure branches are not under or overstaffed.
  • Create and deliver reports to senior-level officers and maintain effective meeting notes.
  • Identify organizational or employee-related issues and create effective solutions.
  • Handle customer complaints at an Area Manager's level.
  • Conduct competitor studies in the area, analyze the information and provide recommendations to support sales growth and market share dominance of existing restaurants.
  • Ensure target achievement through cost management initiatives at the area level.
  • Analyze, recommend, and execute improvement plans at the area level, as applicable.
  • Schedule & utilize training officer to ensure goals are being met.
