Reporting to: Assistant HR Manager - Talent Acquisition
An HR Specialist - Talent Acquisition conducts the recruitment, screening, and interviewing of potential candidates and recommends the best candidates for entry to mid-level positions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs the recruitment process from sourcing passive and active candidates to job offer endorsement, ensuring vacancies are filled within defined turnaround times.
Conducts thorough research for niche or hard-to-fill positions to identify target talent pools and build a robust pipeline of potential candidates, reducing time spent in sourcing.
Applies a consultative approach in meeting hiring requirements by gathering vacancy requirements effectively and providing valuable market insight trends to hiring managers to support hiring decisions and using applicable sourcing strategies.
Provides support as a credible resource to HR-TA and hiring managers on recruitment technical knowledge (i.e., identifying talent pools and target demographics) and internal policies and procedures.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, sourcing activities, and recruitment metrics to provide insights on sourcing effectiveness, candidate pipelines, and market trends.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR, Psychology, or any related field.
Professional Experience:
At least three years of experience in full-cycle recruitment from a high-volume or niche recruitment environment.
Skills Required:
Assessment skills to screen candidate profiles and conduct competency-based interviews to shortlist qualified candidates.
Proficient in using research and sourcing techniques to utilize multiple platforms for sourcing candidates effectively.
Communication skills to effectively interact with hiring managers/teams and candidates at various stages of the recruitment process, with professionalism, clarity, and responsiveness.
Interpersonal and account management skills to develop positive and productive relationships with stakeholders.
Organizational and administrative skills to efficiently coordinate recruitment processes and manage records.
Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace applications to support recruitment activities, such as maintaining trackers and records.
Time management to work efficiently and effectively with tight deadlines and prioritize conflicting tasks.
Flexibility and agility to take on additional tasks as needed.
