Overview

The IT and SEO Specialist will support our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) efforts by optimizing website visibility, search rankings, and user experience. This role focuses on improving on-page elements such as keyword-rich content, HTML structure, internal linking, and page speed, while also executing off-page strategies like backlink building, influencer outreach, and brand engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of SEO best practices, understands eCommerce user behavior, and can drive organic growth across both content and technical channels.

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive SEO audits (technical, on-page, off-page) for DTC brand websites.
  • URL structure optimization
  • Meta titles and descriptions
  • Schema markup
  • Internal linking strategy
  • Drive collection and product page optimization for DTC and eCommerce clients
  • Global, national, and local targeting
  • Audience segmentation based on client shipping policies and market goals
  • Use SEMrush and other tools to drive actionable recommendations
  • Monitor and report on SEO KPIs: rankings, traffic, engagement, and conversion impact from organic
  • Optimize site architecture and navigation for both SEO performance and user experience
  • Stay up to date on SEO trends and algorithm changes, bringing proactive recommendations to the team
  • IT Support, Technical Operations & Design Implementations
  • Support site launches and domain configurations for DTC clients (domain management, DNS setup, hosting configurations)
  • Conduct QA and performance testing of client sites post-launch
  • Troubleshoot technical site issues that may affect SEO or UX (page speed, mobile responsiveness, redirects)
  • Implement design and UX updates on client websites (build and style pages on WordPress and Shopify; align with brand guidelines; manage content updates, media assets, and interactive elements)
  • Collaborate with designers to translate Figma/Adobe XD concepts into functional, optimized web experiences
  • Ensure all design implementations follow SEO best practices and are optimized for performance
  • Coordinate with external developers and internal teams to ensure technical accuracy and visual quality
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to DTC client websites as part of regular account support
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field
  • 2–4 years of SEO experience (technical, on-page, off-page), ideally in eCommerce/DTC
  • Proficient with SEO tools (SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, and basic HTML/CSS
  • Familiarity with domain management, DNS, and hosting setups
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for site performance, speed, and mobile responsiveness
  • Ability to implement SEO-friendly design updates from Figma/Adobe XD
  • Up-to-date with SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices
Technical Requirements
  • A dual-monitor setup is required (at least 8GB of RAM)
  • Must have at least 25 Mbps internet speed
