Shift Structure
  • Official Job Title: Accounting Associate
  • Office Location: Work-from-home set-up
  • Shift Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST Monday to Friday

Location: Remote (Philippines)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Providing accounting and clerical assistance to the Finance department
  • Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
  • Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and emails
  • Handling communications with other departments and vendors via Slack, email, etc.
  • Processing transactions, updating monthly reports
  • Preparing financial reports and payroll computation
  • Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
  • Reports to Accounting Officers and Accounting Managers
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Associate degree in related field with work experience
  • Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks (preferred), strong Excel and typing skills
  • Exceptional time management with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Professional manner and a strong ethical code
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive
  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
Physical Requirements
  • Must be punctual and adhere to the company's Time and Attendance policy
  • Must be able to remain sitting for the majority of their shift
