JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for data management by making use of database tools, reports, software, and other consolidation methodologies. The Specialist will act as an internal/external client interface for data gathering requirements and ensures that data development results in valid and accurate output. May interpret data gathered and provide meaningful insights to management for use in decision-making.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Generate, collate, and provide meaningful analysis and statistical reports used in decision-making and issue them out in a timely manner to the appropriate channel and recipient.
  2. Design standard reports and metrics reporting to the line of business involving relevant performance metrics and ensure compliance on the meaningful use and application of these reports.
  3. Investigate and analyze data and decide upon alternatives to complete the assignment.
  4. Interface and collaborate with operational counterparts and partners (report analyst, operations managers, directors, etc.) in benchmarking, processes and data mapping, subject-matter sharing, and provide backup support.
  5. Write, edit, index, or revise a variety of technical user documentation such as articles, reports, tables, and other documentation related to the specified Line of Business.
  6. Work with business leads (SD, OM, AD) of the programs the analyst supports to improve reporting structure, integrity, and processes.
  7. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  8. Work independently with users to define concepts.
  9. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications include:

  1. Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  2. Experience in reporting tools and methodologies is a must (SQL, Python Superset, GCP Looker).
  3. Familiarity with Quality Department processes and methodologies is an advantage.
  4. Equivalent experience may be substituted for any of the above.

Must be amenable to work on a graveyard shift schedule in our QC Munoz site.
