Overview

JOB SUMMARY

The Patient Engagement Officer plays a key role in ensuring a positive patient experience while driving service awareness and sales. This role involves building strong relationships with patients and their families, coordinating in-home healthcare services, and promoting the company's offerings to increase patient engagement and service uptake.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families, addressing inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
  • Inform patients on available services, care plans, and health management resources.
  • Conduct follow-ups to ensure patient satisfaction and identify any additional support needs.
  • Coordinate in-home healthcare services by liaising with the Clinical Team for service delivery and Finance for Billing.
  • Monitor patient feedback and escalate concerns or suggestions for service improvements.
Sales & Business Development
  • Identify opportunities to promote in-home healthcare services and recommend suitable solutions to patients and caregivers.
  • Follow up with prospective patients, referrals, and inquiries to convert leads into sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, and professional/community organizations to generate patient referrals.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement campaigns that increase patient acquisition and retention.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of Commerce, Marketing, Health Sciences, or related field
  • Work experience: Minimum 1 year experience as Admin or Sales Representative in the Healthcare Industry
  • Empathy & Compassion: Ability to connect with patients while balancing business needs.
  • Sales & Persuasion Skills: Ability to identify patient needs and promote relevant services.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication to convey information effectively.
  • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to anticipate patient concerns and offer solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using CRM systems, electronic medical records (EMR), and Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Cultural Competency: Sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and health beliefs.
