Job Description:
  1. Responsible for generating leads and sales from specified market segments and company-sponsored initiatives. Formulate, execute plans and programs aligned with strategies to ensure the attainment of sales objectives, particularly of the Group Life Business as well as other programs under Sun Business Solutions (SBS).
Preferred Skills:
  • Very good presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent inter-personal skills - customer orientation, patience, good listening skills, and empathy
  • Strong selling skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Qualifications:
  • College graduate, preferably in Marketing or a business-related course
  • At least 4 years of sales-related experience, preferably in insurance, pre-need, or healthcare industry
  • Previous group sales experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct program presentations/orientation to companies & institutions for applicable group life & employee marketing products & services.
  2. Conduct lead generation activities to support sales initiatives and coordinate with financial advisors to convert leads into sales using tools/programs like STEPS.
  3. Develop, establish, and maintain productive business relationships with intermediaries (agency force, brokers).
  4. Establish and maintain healthy relationships with institutional customers/clients and head office support groups.
  5. Assist in conceptualizing and implementing awareness-generation activities supporting sales (e.g., sales campaigns).
  6. Coordinate with STD on training needs of intermediaries to ensure product & service standards are met.
  7. Handle group business requirements of intermediaries, especially potential leads for STEPS/Financial Planning and other SBS programs for cross-selling.
  8. Perform other duties/tasks as assigned by management.
