Team / division overview

DWS Group (DWS) is a leading asset manager with EUR 833bn in assets under management (as of 30 June 2022), with over 60 years of experience. Recognized globally for investment solutions, stability, and innovation, DWS is a publicly listed company in the process of establishing its own infrastructure, including Procurement.

The Sourcing Contract Specialist reports to the Head of Category and manages activities such as contract negotiations, amendments, and legal terms. They collaborate with Procurement, stakeholders, and suppliers, supporting the entire contract lifecycle and liaising with Legal for standard templates. They also assist in sourcing processes, including evaluating RFPs.

Your responsibilities

As Procurement Specialist, you will:

  • Work with Senior Category Managers on sourcing strategies, projects, and content management.
  • Collaborate across departments to align objectives and strategies.
  • Analyze category spend and market data to inform decisions.
  • Support sourcing projects from planning to contracting.
  • Produce reports to advise stakeholders.

We are looking for

  • Experience in Procurement, especially in IT Services, Software, SaaS, Infrastructure, or Consulting.
  • Familiarity with SAP Ariba or similar platforms.
  • Skills in spend analysis and category management.
  • Proven negotiation and contractual skills, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Strong relationship management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with the ability to work virtually and independently.
  • Self-organized, strategic, and results-oriented.
  • Ambitious professional capable of prioritizing and working under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Open to mid-shift hours (2pm to 11pm).
