Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assess the organization's infrastructure and data to identify vulnerabilities caused by weaknesses or flaws in software and hardware that could expose the infrastructure to a security breach.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures, such as firewalls, password policies and intrusion-detection systems.
  • Make recommendations to improve security based on their assessments and knowledge of current and emerging threats.
  • Monitor, triage and investigate alerts in Security Monitoring tools such as SIEM and EDR.
  • Recognize and timely report possible security violations or incidents and deliver effective response and remediation.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the Firm's security posture.
  • Respond to security incidents and assist Semi-Senior IT Security Officer in performing root-cause analysis and provide necessary remediation and mitigation.
  • Submit incident reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Programming, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good team working skills to develop security solutions in collaboration with other information technology professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, report writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to self-prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel on short notice and for extended periods of time. Positive and energetic attitude
  • Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive to work independently while being an effective team member
