Role Purpose

The UI/UX Designer will play a key role in shaping the visual design and usability of our products, ensuring they are engaging, intuitive, and effective for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design Excellence: Develop and maintain intuitive and user-friendly UI designs that enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Visual Consistency: Create and uphold a cohesive visual identity across the platform by developing and refining design systems and UI components.
  • User-Centric Approach: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and translate user needs into effective design solutions that align with business goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of design into the product development lifecycle.
  • Innovation: Stay informed about the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Onboarding Optimization: Design and enhance onboarding flow to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for new customers.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing to create visually appealing landing pages, promotional materials, and sales enablement tools.
  • Brand Advocacy: Ensure that all UI/UX designs adhere to brand guidelines and reinforce our brand identity.
  • Product-Led Growth: Contribute to product-led growth strategies by designing user interfaces that encourage adoption and engagement.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with team members, key people leaders (internal and external), and stakeholders using effective communication strategies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice and skillset.
  • Participate in Performance Reviews, Training Via KnowBE4 Application, Career Development, and Learning & Development as required.
  • You are both an individual contributor as well as a team member, do right by both.
  • Other duties and activities as directed by the Head of Product Strategy and Innovation (emite) and Senior Leadership.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • 4+ years of proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a SaaS or cloud-based product environment.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
  • Ability to translate complex business challenges into simple, effective, and elegant design solutions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • A passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience with automated onboarding flows and self-service design approaches.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing and user research methodologies.
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Must have a high command of verbal and written English communication skills.
