Your role and work environment:

ING is looking to recruit a Customer Journey Expert for Data Delivery Platform.

The Data Management Tribe for Retail Spain is focused on being extremely personal and relevant by turning data into rational and emotional benefits to maximize value and customer engagement using the 5 Right's principles (The right data is in the right place at the right time for the right people in the right way).

In order to achieve this mission, we are looking for a Data Management Expert to help us evolve our Data Ecosystem.

You will have end-to-end responsibility for analyzing, defining, and starting up the informational platform use cases.

You are passionate about improving the client experience and have broad knowledge of data models to create the foundations for decision-making and provide insights to our customers, regulators, and the rest of the organization.

You will work in the Data Management tribe in Spain together with other experts, building, defining, and deploying our new Data platform, providing data to our stakeholders to cover their needs regarding informational and translating functional requirements to the technical team.

You will initiate new projects and drive change, working closely with customers and key stakeholders on vision, strategy, and the roadmap.

You are a team player and motivator, actively involved in the maintenance, development, and realization of new data management capabilities.

As an expert, you will deliver all the necessary business know-how and skills within the Squads to realize the shared purpose.

As a Data Management Expert, you will report to the CJE Chapter lead of the Data Management tribe.

Your key responsibilities:

As a CJE Data Management Expert, you will:

1. Have end-to-end responsibility for the development of information use cases for reporting and analytics.
2. Contribute as a key member of the squad, providing broad knowledge of data models, taking business requirements from operational systems, and elaborating information mappings for the development members.
3. In collaboration with different squads and CoE, define new requirements over Functional Data Architecture and Data Management Framework (WoW, Glossary, Metadata, Data Quality, Governance…).
4. Be responsible for the definitions of 'ready' and 'done', and acceptance criteria for user stories in coordination with the team.

1. Contribute to the ING One Agile Way of Working and safeguard the Orange Code.
2. Own a master's or bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
3. Proven experience in Data Lake / Data Warehousing platforms, especially within Data Marts Modeling, ETL processes, and Reporting, including value proposition design, performance improvements, and platform data quality monitoring.
4. Knowledge of the IBM InfoSphere platform (or similar).
5. Knowledge of Data Governance and Quality frameworks.
6. Knowledge of reporting tools such as Micro Strategy, IBM Cognos, Power BI, and SQL.
7. Knowledge of new trends in data management such as Data Fabric, Data Mesh, Data Virtualization.
8. Agile working experience for more than 2-3 years.
9. Ability to communicate clearly (written and oral) to different stakeholders (advanced English is required).
10. Capability to participate in the definition of data platform in strategic terms, linking current events and business strategy.
11. Strong analytical skills to create models for decision-making based on data and facts.
12. Strong analytical and judgment skills (recognizing key information, organizing problem identification, research, various methods of analysis, establishment of connections, etc.).
13. Be a team player, stimulating cross-border interaction and alignment between people, Squads & Chapters.
14. Be curious, passionate about innovation, and stay on top of trends and developments within the Data world.
15. Be creative and a proactive out-of-the-box thinker who likes to work in a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment.
