Travel Lead

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to oversee and manage the daily operations and requests of travel administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of travel support related to policy governance and system support, maintaining high levels of timeliness, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, organization, stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management
  2. Lead, motivate, and manage a travel specialist to meet performance targets and service levels.
  3. Conduct regular meetings, provide coaching, and identify training needs to improve skills and productivity.
  4. Manage scheduling and workload distribution to ensure seamless, timely, and accurate operations.
  1. Operational Oversight
  2. Oversee the planning and management of travel profiles, bookings, expense claims, payment flows, setup of Global Hotel Program, approvals, travel gaps and exceptions, Egencia system, Global Travel Page, and travel policy compliance and governance.
  1. Performance Monitoring
  2. Track service performance through KPIs and metrics such as timeliness and accuracy.
  3. Prepare and present regular performance reports to management.
  4. Manage ad hoc reporting and presentations as needed.
  1. Collaboration and Communication
  2. Work closely with internal departments to align on service goals and organizational objectives related to travel.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, travel partners, suppliers, and vendors.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of travel systems and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, international, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and inspire teams to achieve targets.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant travel and customer relationship management tools.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Experience working in a multi-national company and/or supporting multiple countries.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Travel, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
