An Application Developer with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform specializes in creating and supporting solutions that leverage the capabilities of PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Power Pages, Dataverse, Power Virtual Agent, and Copilot. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining applications that automate business processes, streamline workflows, and create engaging user experiences through conversational AI.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

Application Development:
* Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps.
* Create automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
* Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Support and Maintenance:
* Provide Level 2 support for Power Platform applications, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
* Monitor application performance and ensure optimal functionality.
* Collaborate with the IT support team to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

3+ years extensive experience using Power Automate and has the following skills:

  • Proven experience working as a Power Automate Developer, Consultant, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Automate capabilities and expertise in building complex workflows.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing business process automation solutions.
  • Experience with integrating Power Automate with external systems using APIs and connectors.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred technical and professional experience

3+ years extensive experience using Power Automate and has the following skills:

  • Proven experience working as a Power Automate Developer, Consultant, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Automate capabilities and expertise in building complex workflows.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing business process automation solutions.
  • Experience with integrating Power Automate with external systems using APIs and connectors.
