About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Associate to join our growing team at Pinoy Connect Management and Consultancy Services Inc. in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City Metro Manila. As a full-time Accounting Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our overall accounting operations.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide accurate and timely financial information and reports to facilitate the decision-making process.
  2. Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.
  3. Ensure an accurate and timely reporting of all monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  4. Prepare summary feedback of financial statement variances to budget.
  5. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  6. Maintain an organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.
  7. Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned.
  8. Responsible for Fixed Assets additions, deletions, and depreciation schedules balanced to year-end financials.
  9. Compilation of information for preparation and filing of tax returns.
  10. Preparation of BIR manual books of accounts.
  11. Manage the filing, retrieving, storing, and security of corporate records and documents.
  12. Work with the Senior Finance Officer to ensure a clean, complete, and timely year-end audit.
  13. Respond to inquiries from Senior Accounting Officer and CFO regarding financial results, special reporting requests, and the like.
  14. Act as PCF Custodian.
  15. Prepare replenishment of petty cash fund.
  16. Handle postpaid accounts of employees including the compilation of monthly billing statements.
  17. Prepare PO (Purchase Order).
  18. Handle shipment of documents abroad.
  19. Monitor renewal of office permits/licenses, renewal of car insurance, LTO registration, and PMS of company cars.
  20. Create reports on expenses and office budgets.
  21. Responsible for the preparation and checking of the Employee's Daily Time Record.
  22. Act as a backup in the absence of the Admin Officer.
  23. Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting or similar.
  2. At least three (3) years of experience as an Accounting Staff/Assistant.
  3. CPA is an advantage but not required.
  4. Strong knowledge and experience with accounting principles.
  5. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work independently, but also coordinate effectively as part of a team.
  7. Knowledge of computerized accounting systems preferably QNE or equivalent accounting software.
  8. Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Possesses an attitude of service and support.
  9. Budgeting, business planning, and forecasting skills.
  10. Understand local tax & regulatory compliances.
  11. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Word.
  12. Attentive to details.
