We are working with one of the world's leading omnichannel platforms designed to connect mobile network operations with enterprises. Their platform enables companies and developers to manage, coordinate, and enhance customer engagement throughout the entire customer life cycle.
Job Description
As a Sales & Strategy Head, you are responsible for the following:
- Collaborates with customer segment leads, Go-To-Market Managers, and other key stakeholders to establish short and long term strategies and objectives for the team.
- Ensures financial targets are met, removing any obstacles to achieving KPIs.
- Oversees opportunities, driving team performance by setting examples and maintaining proper work flow (account planning, TAL).
- Takes responsibility for the team's revenue goals and holds members accountable for achieving them.
- Coordinates daily tasks and activities, both within and outside the team, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies.
- Has a deep understanding of the market, customers, and products, and transfers this expertise to the team.
- Acts as a hands-on coach, mentor, and leader, guiding sales activities, coaching, and distributing workload effectively.
- Oversees the team's pipeline management and drives growth within the specific verticals or segments.
- Monitors team performance, providing regular feedback and guidance.
- Serves as the primary contact for liaising with support teams (legal, finance, etc.) to facilitate deals.
- Provides direction and support during market segmentation activities.
The Successful Applicant
- 10-15 years of tenure is a sweet spot.
- Some sort of software/solution selling background experience is required (specifically SaaS, managed services, software, etc.).
- Background in setting up strategy from a sales perspective.
- Having been able to successfully close deals with enterprise BFSIs, retail, and telco accounts is a big plus.
- A to Z sales from initial point of contact all the way to negotiations and closure of an opportunity.
