About the role

Savefs'Air Solutions' is seeking a skilled and experienced General Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team in our office located in Angeles City, Pampanga. As a full-time General Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and reporting for our company. What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Performing month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, such as the finance team and department heads, to provide financial information and guidance
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate submission of tax returns and other financial reports
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of accounting policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the analysis and reporting function
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
  • Familiarity with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Experience in the aviation or transportation industry would be an advantage
