Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage end-to-end FTTx (Fiber to the x) deployment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom infrastructure, particularly in fiber optic networks, and possess proven experience in managing large-scale projects within time, cost, and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive FTTx project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle – survey, design, permitting, civil works, fiber installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Ensure effective coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and local authorities

Budget & Cost Management:
  • Prepare project budgets and track actual costs versus forecasts.
  • Manage procurement of materials and services within budget constraints.
Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes for construction and network performance.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide regular progress reports, risk assessments, and issue resolution updates.

Risk Management:
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Respond to project delays or issues with contingency planning.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including civil engineers, fiber technicians, and support staff.
  • Motivate and guide the team to meet project objectives and KPIs.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, ECE, IT, Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in telecom infrastructure project management, preferably in OSP, FTTx rollout.
  • Proven track record of delivering multi-site or regional fiber optic projects.
  • Knowledge of fiber network topologies (FTTH, FTTB, FTTC, etc.).
  • Familiarity with telecom regulatory standards and permitting processes.
  • Experience working with GIS, AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar planning tools.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with telecom operators or infrastructure providers.
  • Understanding of passive and active network components.
  • Vendor and contract management experience.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Salary: 30k to 45k
