Accountabilities

  1. Apply practice area knowledge and customer insights to deliver content that ensures accuracy, currency, relevance, accessibility, and timeliness for AEFP by:

    1. Working with Practice Area Manager to advise authors on writing and restructuring material as required;

    2. Editing and formatting GS contents to ensure accuracy, authoritativeness, and comprehensiveness that meet customer benchmarks;

    3. Preparing tasks for content conversion, applying and editing XML markup, and performing publishing and quality audits;

    4. Uploading content into Suites and Bundles;

    5. Monitoring developments in the law covered within AEFP;

    6. Performing original research as required;

    7. Managing projects effectively;

    8. Reviewing content for sense and conformity to LexisNexis house style, proofreading legal content, and making style corrections according to product style guides;

    9. Identifying process improvements and collaborating with REPH Editors, Operations Supervisor, Managing Editor, and Senior Editors to implement streamlined Content Management team processes;

    10. Performing other agreed-upon editorial tasks.

  2. Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's Degree in any field;

    2. Strong commitment to performance and team success;

    3. Attention to detail;

    4. Proficiency in MS Office or equivalent tools;

    5. Editorial and publishing experience is advantageous.
