
New Business Partner

The New Business Partner is responsible for closing new business, researching and identifying sales opportunities, generating leads and maintaining relationships with existing clients. You will need to discuss and match the needs of your business customers, attend face-to-face meetings and deliver polished presentations that outline the benefits of the product or service to be able to generate new business for the company.
Key Responsibilities- Generate new leads or new potential clients.
- Prospect and identify potential clients through various strategic sales activities and turn this into new business.
- Conduct sales calls as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Achievement of set individual new business targets and contribute to the overall team targets.
- Research and Setup meetings to build relationships with the decision makers and principals within the client organization.
- Plan approaches and pitches by working closely with the New Business Team, and in a timely manner with technical staff and other internal colleagues to develop proposals that speak to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives. This will include aspects such as features, functionalities, other requirements, pricing, etc.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Submit weekly progress reports and other reports that the management may require in relation to new business activities.
- Ensure sound contracts and compliance from buying organization.
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM or other sales management system.
- Manage and close new business from potential clients coming from sales channels other than direct source such as from distributors, resellers, and referrals.
- And another task assigned.
- Bachelor's/College Degree in any business related courses.
- With at least 2 years work experience in any Business-to-Business sales environment.
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent B2B sales and negotiation skills.
- Knowledgeable in sales pipeline management.
- Diplomatic, tactful, and confident to deal with key decision makers from potential buying organization.
- The ability to get on with people at all levels and influence their decisions.
- Comfortable working with ambitious deadlines and sales targets.
- Strong problem solving and creative skills.
- Teamwork and leadership skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Customer service oriented.
- A fast learner who can easily get a solid grasp of sales processes.
