Job Responsibilities:
  1. Establish industry contacts and client base.
  2. Gather market information and provide feedback to the NE Sales Manager.
  3. Participate in sales planning Sales Marketing Activities.
  4. Visit owners, architects, consultants and general contractors for possible elevator and escalator, dumbwaiter and handicap lift requirements.
  5. Prepare traffic analysis required for buildings of targeted clients.
  6. Prepare data and specifications of elevators, dumbwaiters and escalators to be presented to owners, architects and/or contractors.
  7. Prepare quotations of elevators, dumbwaiters, escalators and handicap lifts.
  8. Negotiate with owners, architects, and/or contractors for possible sales.
  9. Call on clients to follow up status of bid on a regular basis.
  10. Co-review with Contracts Assistant, pre-bid and post award contracts and ensure that all documents related to a sale are complete and referred to Finance for approval.
  11. Review pre-bid contracts, plans and specifications, terms and conditions thoroughly to ensure accuracy of bid.
  12. Coordinate with Construction Manager/Supervisors with regards to installation contracts.
  13. Attend meetings with building owners, architects and/or general contractors to thresh out problems encountered at jobsites.
  14. Assist in collecting payments of his/her clients and obtains withholding tax certificates from his/her clients.
  15. Review elevator, escalator, dumbwaiter and handicap lift drawings prior to final checking of Sales Manager and Construction Manager.
  16. Prepare estimates and proposals through e-log.
  17. Perform other duties/tasks that may be assigned from time to time, in support of the achievement of team goals or for own development purposes.
Job Qualifications:
  1. With at least 2 years of sales experience in the construction industry (meaning doing technical sales).
  2. Engineering graduates a preference but not required.
  3. Resides near the areas of coverage indicated.
  4. HVAC and Elevator experience a preference but not required.
